On Monday, April 4, members of the Massachusetts Sierra Club will participate in the massive “We Are One” Day of Action in Boston. On the 43rd anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther KingJr.’s assassination, Sierra Club members will stand alongside members of the labor, civil rights, education, faith and human rights movements for our common vision of a healthy, safe, equitable and prosperous America.
“Dr. King’s vision of a just, healthy, safe economy and environment is under attack from corporate-backed politicians nationwide,” said Sierra Club Chapter Director, James McCaffrey. “The Sierra Club is marching today to stand up for the human, civil and environmental rights that Dr. King gave his life for.”
